Čitateljica nam je poslala dvije fotografije aktivnosti oko otočića Dakse. Kaže da se već danima nešto radi, što je vidljivo s magistrale, ali nije poznato o čemu je riječ.

Oko Dakse se odvijaju neke radne aktivnosti

Ako nas oko ne vara, radi se o motornom brodu "Plovput Split" inače namijenjenom za održavanje plovnih puteva, poglavito njihovih svjetionika. Pripada državnoj tvrtki Plovput.

Daksa je najmanji otočić iz skupine Elafitskih otoka i najbliži Dubrovniku, površine 5 hektara. U privatnom je vlasništvu. Kako stoji u povijesnim knjigama, samostan na Daksi, koji je dao sagraditi Sabo Getaldić 1281. godine, stoljećima je bio okupljalište redovnika iz cijele Europe. Živjeli su tu do dolaska Napoleonove vojske 1806. godine. Danas su od ovog samostana ostale samo ruševine. Uz samostan se nalazila crkvica Svetog Sabina, četverokatna kula koja je služila kao utvrda i zvonik.

Koncem Drugog svjetskog rata, u listopadu 1944. godine, partizani su počinili veliki zločin na Daksi. Bez ikakvog suđenja likvidirali su 53 istaknuta građanina, civila Hrvata, koji su dostojno pokopani tek 2010. godine. Među njima su bili tadašnji gradonačelnik Dubrovnika Niko Koprivica, nekoliko svećenika, pa i padre Petar Perica, autor pjesme ‘Rajska Djevo, kraljice Hrvata.

Taj užasni pokolj neki smatraju glavnim razlogom što se otok, koji je u privatnom vlasništvu i nije nastanjen, nikad nije uspio prodati, iako je pravi raj na Zemlji nadomak Dubrovnika, ili o tome nema službenih podataka. Prije dvije godine obnovljena je napuštena svjetioničarska zgrada, izgrađena 1872. godine. Prvi put je prodaja Dakse u hrvatskim oglasnicima ‘osvanula‘ davno prije 2013. godine, ali se tada nudila za dva milijuna eura, što je poprilično manje od cijene koja je na počecima pokušaja prodaje iznosila 6 milijuna dolara. Bilo je ideja da Daksu otkupi Grad Dubrovnik kako bi ostala u gradskom vlasništvu. No, mučni događaji koji su se odigrali na otoku ne idu mu u prilog, pa ga nazivaju i ukletim te otokom duhova.

Ako nas oko ne vara, radi se o motornom brodu "Plovput Split" inače namijenjenom za održavanje plovnih puteva, poglavito njihovih svjetionika. Pripada državnoj tvrtki Plovput.

Daksa je najmanji otočić iz skupine Elafitskih otoka i najbliži Dubrovniku, površine 5 hektara. U privatnom je vlasništvu. Kako stoji u povijesnim knjigama, samostan na Daksi, koji je dao sagraditi Sabo Getaldić 1281. godine, stoljećima je bio okupljalište redovnika iz cijele Europe. Živjeli su tu do dolaska Napoleonove vojske 1806. godine. Danas su od ovog samostana ostale samo ruševine. Uz samostan se nalazila crkvica Svetog Sabina, četverokatna kula koja je služila kao utvrda i zvonik.

Koncem Drugog svjetskog rata, u listopadu 1944. godine, partizani su počinili veliki zločin na Daksi. Bez ikakvog suđenja likvidirali su 53 istaknuta građanina, civila Hrvata, koji su dostojno pokopani tek 2010. godine. Među njima su bili tadašnji gradonačelnik Dubrovnika Niko Koprivica, nekoliko svećenika, pa i padre Petar Perica, autor pjesme ‘Rajska Djevo, kraljice Hrvata.

Taj užasni pokolj neki smatraju glavnim razlogom što se otok, koji je u privatnom vlasništvu i nije nastanjen, nikad nije uspio prodati, iako je pravi raj na Zemlji nadomak Dubrovnika, ili o tome nema službenih podataka. Prije dvije godine obnovljena je napuštena svjetioničarska zgrada, izgrađena 1872. godine. Prvi put je prodaja Dakse u hrvatskim oglasnicima ‘osvanula‘ davno prije 2013. godine, ali se tada nudila za dva milijuna eura, što je poprilično manje od cijene koja je na počecima pokušaja prodaje iznosila 6 milijuna dolara. Bilo je ideja da Daksu otkupi Grad Dubrovnik kako bi ostala u gradskom vlasništvu. No, mučni događaji koji su se odigrali na otoku ne idu mu u prilog, pa ga nazivaju i ukletim te otokom duhova.
