Većina brodova dužih od 6 metara danas se sidri uz pomoć električnog vinča i sidrenoga lanca, jer je to fizički najlakša opcija, a ujedno i najsigurnija. Lanac, naime, svojom težinom dodatno ojačava snagu sidrenog sustava, te olakšava sidru brže kačenje stvarajući povoljniji kut. No, prilikom samoga sidrenja teško je odoka procijeniti koliko je metara sidrenoga lanca otpušteno u more, što je značajan podatak za dobro držanje sidra. Polazna točka je dubina u metrima na mjestu sidrenja, a lanac treba otpustiti tri do četiri te dubine, ovisno o vremenskim uvjetima i vrsti dna.

Jednostavan način da se to što točnije obavi je označavanje svakih deset metara lanca drugom bojom, što je vrlo lako učiniti plastičnim oznakama Chain Rainbow tvrtke Osculati koje se lako umetnu u sredinu karika lanca i tu se čvrsto drže. U pakiranju je 50 oznaka u pet boja (bijela, plava, žuta, crvena i zelena) za najčešći lanac debljine 8 mm. To je dovoljno za označavanje prvih desetak karika na svakih deset metara, koje je onda lako pratiti. Većina brodova dužih od 6 metara danas se sidri uz pomoć električnog vinča i sidrenoga lanca, jer je to fizički najlakša opcija, a ujedno i najsigurnija. Lanac, naime, svojom težinom dodatno ojačava snagu sidrenog sustava, te olakšava sidru brže kačenje stvarajući povoljniji kut. No, prilikom samoga sidrenja teško je odoka procijeniti koliko je metara sidrenoga lanca otpušteno u more, što je značajan podatak za dobro držanje sidra. Polazna točka je dubina u metrima na mjestu sidrenja, a lanac treba otpustiti tri do četiri te dubine, ovisno o vremenskim uvjetima i vrsti dna.

Jednostavan način da se to što točnije obavi je označavanje svakih deset metara lanca drugom bojom, što je vrlo lako učiniti plastičnim oznakama Chain Rainbow tvrtke Osculati koje se lako umetnu u sredinu karika lanca i tu se čvrsto drže. U pakiranju je 50 oznaka u pet boja (bijela, plava, žuta, crvena i zelena) za najčešći lanac debljine 8 mm. To je dovoljno za označavanje prvih desetak karika na svakih deset metara, koje je onda lako pratiti. UNIMAROsculati chain rainbow: Oznake otpuštenog sidrenog lanca

Većina brodova dužih od 6 metara danas se sidri uz pomoć električnog vinča i sidrenoga lanca, jer je to fizički najlakša opcija, a ujedno i najsigurnija. Lanac, naime, svojom težinom dodatno ojačava snagu sidrenog sustava, te olakšava sidru brže kačenje stvarajući povoljniji kut. No, prilikom samoga sidrenja teško je odoka procijeniti koliko je metara sidrenoga lanca otpušteno u more, što je značajan podatak za dobro držanje sidra. Polazna točka je dubina u metrima na mjestu sidrenja, a lanac treba otpustiti tri do četiri te dubine, ovisno o vremenskim uvjetima i vrsti dna.

Jednostavan način da se to što točnije obavi je označavanje svakih deset metara lanca drugom bojom, što je vrlo lako učiniti plastičnim oznakama Chain Rainbow tvrtke Osculati koje se lako umetnu u sredinu karika lanca i tu se čvrsto drže. U pakiranju je 50 oznaka u pet boja (bijela, plava, žuta, crvena i zelena) za najčešći lanac debljine 8 mm. To je dovoljno za označavanje prvih desetak karika na svakih deset metara, koje je onda lako pratiti.
