Poštovani, na brodu imam kompas Plastimo, koji sam svojedobno skupo platio. Zbog manjeg oštećenja, koje nije na vidljivom dijelu i koje sam sanirao, iscurio je dio tekućine iz kompasa i sad ne znam što učiniti. Rado bih ga popravio ako je to moguće, ali ne znam što u njega uliti. Dobio sam puno savjeta, od ulja za bebe do alkohola, koji su me samo zbunili. Molim za vaše stručno mišljenje i savjet?

Oštećenje koje spominjete niste opisali, a kako nije na vidljivom mjestu, pretpostavljam da je problem bio s brtvom koju ste zamijenili novom, najbolje originalnom.

Tekućina u kompasu služi za usporavanje i mirnije okretanje ruže, pa spomenimo i kako manji mjehur u busoli oblika polukugle nema bitan utjecaj na njezin rad, jer je uvijek na vrhu i iznad ruže, ali ga je grubo vidjeti. Bez obzira je li se u kompasu samo pojavio mjehur zraka ili je iz njega iscurila tekućina, postupak je otprilike jednak.

Manjak tekućine najbolje je nadopuniti istom. Svaki proizvođač koristi neku svoju tekućinu za kompase, ali uglavnom su to pročišćeni petrolej ili mješavina destilirane vode i etilnog alkohola.

Pročišćeni petrolej

Destilirana voda ne stvara kamenac, a etilni alkohol u ovom slučaju služi kao antifriz i ne dozvoljava smrzavanje. Kao manu ovoj mješavini netko navodi mogućnost nagrizanja boje na ruži, međutim, ako je do sada nije nagrizla neće ni ubuduće.

Petrolej, ne obični nego destilirani, niskog je viskoziteta, potpuno je bistar i najčešće ne oštećuje boju. Kada niste sigurni koja je tekućina u vašem kompasu, kapnite je u malo vode, pa ako je petrolej, plivat će na površini, dok će se alkohol odmah pomiješati s vodom.

U tvornicama se kompasi pune pod vakuumom ili barem u komorama sa smanjenim pritiskom zraka, a te uvjete vi vjerojatno nemate. Ipak, donekle se možete pomoći i frižiderom. Kasnije će se na vanjskoj temperaturi tekućina širiti. Gumena dijafragma na kućištu kompasa i služi tome da se tekućina može promjenom temperature širiti i skupljati.

Dakle, otvor za punjenje kompasa postavite u najvišu točku, ulijte tekućinu do vrha, začepite prstom, te lagano okrećite i protresite kao biste oslobodili zarobljeni zrak.

Neka tako napunjen kompas odstoji još barem 12 sati i oslobodi sve eventualno zaostale mjehuriće. Manjak tekućine nadolijte, zavidajte čep i kompas je spreman za montažu na plovilu.

Pravila kompenzacije

Nakon ugradnje dobro je provjeriti rad kompasa za svakih 30 stupnjeva i po potrebi ga kompenzirati. Sve devijacije manje od 7 stupnjeva su tolerantne i ucrtavaju se u devijacijski grafikon. Ako su odstupanja u nekom od kurseva između 7 i 20 stupnjeva, kompas je potrebno kompenzirati i nakon toga napraviti novi grafikon.

Za odstupanja veća od 20 stupnjeva, potrebno je kompas premjestiti dalje od izvora lokalnog magnetnog polja koje utječe na njegov normalan rad. Međutim, ako su i dalje odstupanja velika, tada s kompasom nešto nije u redu i potrebna mu je zamjena ili ozbiljniji servis.

Poštovani, na brodu imam kompas Plastimo, koji sam svojedobno skupo platio. Zbog manjeg oštećenja, koje nije na vidljivom dijelu i koje sam sanirao, iscurio je dio tekućine iz kompasa i sad ne znam što učiniti. Rado bih ga popravio ako je to moguće, ali ne znam što u njega uliti. Dobio sam puno savjeta, od ulja za bebe do alkohola, koji su me samo zbunili. Molim za vaše stručno mišljenje i savjet?

Oštećenje koje spominjete niste opisali, a kako nije na vidljivom mjestu, pretpostavljam da je problem bio s brtvom koju ste zamijenili novom, najbolje originalnom.

Tekućina u kompasu služi za usporavanje i mirnije okretanje ruže, pa spomenimo i kako manji mjehur u busoli oblika polukugle nema bitan utjecaj na njezin rad, jer je uvijek na vrhu i iznad ruže, ali ga je grubo vidjeti. Bez obzira je li se u kompasu samo pojavio mjehur zraka ili je iz njega iscurila tekućina, postupak je otprilike jednak.

Manjak tekućine najbolje je nadopuniti istom. Svaki proizvođač koristi neku svoju tekućinu za kompase, ali uglavnom su to pročišćeni petrolej ili mješavina destilirane vode i etilnog alkohola.

Pročišćeni petrolej

Destilirana voda ne stvara kamenac, a etilni alkohol u ovom slučaju služi kao antifriz i ne dozvoljava smrzavanje. Kao manu ovoj mješavini netko navodi mogućnost nagrizanja boje na ruži, međutim, ako je do sada nije nagrizla neće ni ubuduće.

Petrolej, ne obični nego destilirani, niskog je viskoziteta, potpuno je bistar i najčešće ne oštećuje boju. Kada niste sigurni koja je tekućina u vašem kompasu, kapnite je u malo vode, pa ako je petrolej, plivat će na površini, dok će se alkohol odmah pomiješati s vodom.

U tvornicama se kompasi pune pod vakuumom ili barem u komorama sa smanjenim pritiskom zraka, a te uvjete vi vjerojatno nemate. Ipak, donekle se možete pomoći i frižiderom. Kasnije će se na vanjskoj temperaturi tekućina širiti. Gumena dijafragma na kućištu kompasa i služi tome da se tekućina može promjenom temperature širiti i skupljati.

Dakle, otvor za punjenje kompasa postavite u najvišu točku, ulijte tekućinu do vrha, začepite prstom, te lagano okrećite i protresite kao biste oslobodili zarobljeni zrak.

Neka tako napunjen kompas odstoji još barem 12 sati i oslobodi sve eventualno zaostale mjehuriće. Manjak tekućine nadolijte, zavidajte čep i kompas je spreman za montažu na plovilu.

Pravila kompenzacije

Nakon ugradnje dobro je provjeriti rad kompasa za svakih 30 stupnjeva i po potrebi ga kompenzirati. Sve devijacije manje od 7 stupnjeva su tolerantne i ucrtavaju se u devijacijski grafikon. Ako su odstupanja u nekom od kurseva između 7 i 20 stupnjeva, kompas je potrebno kompenzirati i nakon toga napraviti novi grafikon.

Za odstupanja veća od 20 stupnjeva, potrebno je kompas premjestiti dalje od izvora lokalnog magnetnog polja koje utječe na njegov normalan rad. Međutim, ako su i dalje odstupanja velika, tada s kompasom nešto nije u redu i potrebna mu je zamjena ili ozbiljniji servis.
