Golemi kontejnerski brod još je zaglavljen u Sueskom kanalu, no tegljači su ga uspjeli pomaknuti i voda je počela teći isprod broda, prenio je u nedjelju BBC.
Predstavnici tvrtke koja upravlja kanalom kazali su da je određeni uspjeh postignut i nadaju se da bi brod mogao zaploviti do nedjelje navečer.
Brod Ever Given nasukan je od utorka poprijeko u jednom od najprometnijih trgovačkih pomorskih puteva i sad već oko 300 brodova čeka s obje strane kanala na prolazak, dok su se neki brodovi već odlučili krenuti dva tjedna duljim putem oko afričkog Rta dobre nade.
U subotu je iskopano oko 20.000 tona pijeska oko Ever Givena i brod je počelo vući 14 tegljača u nastojanju da ga oslobodi.
Iako snažne plime i oseke te snažni vjetrovi otežavaju napore, os broda pomaknuta je 30 stupnjeva.
General Osama Rabie, upravitelj Sueskog kanala, kazao je da je voda počela teći ispod broda.
"Očekujemo da bi u svakom trenutku brod mogao skliznuti i pomaknuti se iz svoje pozicije", kazao je na konferenciji za novinare dodajući da se nada da neće biti potrebno pribjeći drugoj fazi, vremenski mnogo zahtjevnijoj, da se ukloni dio od 18.300 brodskih kontejnera kako bi se umanjila težina broda.
Prema prvim izvješćima brod dug 400 metara i težak 200.000 tona zaglavio se zbog pješčane oluje i snažnih vjetrova koji su utjecali na vidljivost, no Rabie kaže da vremenski uvjeti ne mogu biti glavni razlog nasukavanja broda nego da se možda radilo o tehničkim ili ljudskim pogreškama što će se utvrditi istragom.
Brodom Ever Given upravlja tajvanska tvrtka Evergreen Marine i u vlasništvu je japanskog Shoei Kisena.
Jukito Higaki, predsjednik Shoei Kisen, kazao je u petak kako se čini da brod nije oštećen.
Oko 12 posto svjetske trgovine prolazi kanalom dugim 193 kilometara koji povezuje Sredozemlje i Crveno more i predstavlja najkraći put od Azije do Europe.
Prema tvrtki Lloyd's List zastoj u kanalu onemogućava u svakom satu prolazak robe vrijedne 400 milijuna dolara.

Golemi kontejnerski brod još je zaglavljen u Sueskom kanalu, no tegljači su ga uspjeli pomaknuti i voda je počela teći isprod broda, prenio je u nedjelju BBC.
Predstavnici tvrtke koja upravlja kanalom kazali su da je određeni uspjeh postignut i nadaju se da bi brod mogao zaploviti do nedjelje navečer.
Brod Ever Given nasukan je od utorka poprijeko u jednom od najprometnijih trgovačkih pomorskih puteva i sad već oko 300 brodova čeka s obje strane kanala na prolazak, dok su se neki brodovi već odlučili krenuti dva tjedna duljim putem oko afričkog Rta dobre nade.
U subotu je iskopano oko 20.000 tona pijeska oko Ever Givena i brod je počelo vući 14 tegljača u nastojanju da ga oslobodi.
Iako snažne plime i oseke te snažni vjetrovi otežavaju napore, os broda pomaknuta je 30 stupnjeva.
General Osama Rabie, upravitelj Sueskog kanala, kazao je da je voda počela teći ispod broda.
"Očekujemo da bi u svakom trenutku brod mogao skliznuti i pomaknuti se iz svoje pozicije", kazao je na konferenciji za novinare dodajući da se nada da neće biti potrebno pribjeći drugoj fazi, vremenski mnogo zahtjevnijoj, da se ukloni dio od 18.300 brodskih kontejnera kako bi se umanjila težina broda.
Prema prvim izvješćima brod dug 400 metara i težak 200.000 tona zaglavio se zbog pješčane oluje i snažnih vjetrova koji su utjecali na vidljivost, no Rabie kaže da vremenski uvjeti ne mogu biti glavni razlog nasukavanja broda nego da se možda radilo o tehničkim ili ljudskim pogreškama što će se utvrditi istragom.
Brodom Ever Given upravlja tajvanska tvrtka Evergreen Marine i u vlasništvu je japanskog Shoei Kisena.
Jukito Higaki, predsjednik Shoei Kisen, kazao je u petak kako se čini da brod nije oštećen.
Oko 12 posto svjetske trgovine prolazi kanalom dugim 193 kilometara koji povezuje Sredozemlje i Crveno more i predstavlja najkraći put od Azije do Europe.
Prema tvrtki Lloyd's List zastoj u kanalu onemogućava u svakom satu prolazak robe vrijedne 400 milijuna dolara.
