Vodeća svjetska udruga za certifikaciju brodova isključila je iz članstva Ruski pomorski registar brodova (RS), u skladu sa sankcijama Rusiji zbog njezine invazije na Ukrajinu.
Klasifikacijska društva pružaju usluge kao što su izdavanje potvrda o sposobnosti brodova za plovidbu. Njihov certifikat brodarima je ključan za osiguranje brodova i pribavljanje dozvole za ulazak u luku, podsjeća Reuters .
Prošli su tjedan britanski LR i norveški DNV objavili da obustavljaju ili postupno gase poslovne veze s Rusijom.
Međunarodno udruženje klasifikacijskih društava (IACS), čiji su članovi LR i DNV, izvijestilo je u petak navečer da je po hitnom postupku iz članstva isključilo ruski RS.
Članstvo Rusije postalo je "neodrživo", istaknuli su, navodeći kao razlog sankcije Velike Britanije Rusiji. Sjedište je IACS-a u Britaniji, podsjeća Reuters.
"IACS iskazuje duboko žaljenje zbog okolnosti koje su rezultirale ovom odlukom", navodi se u priopćenju.
Iz RS-a nisu odmah odgovorili na zahtjev da komentiraju tu odluku, koji im je upućen u ponedjeljak.
Glasnogovornik IACS-a izjavio je u ponedjeljak da će posljedice po RS „ovisiti o njegovim različitim, privatnim bilateralnim aranžmanima sa strankama kao što su brodovlasnici i države pod čijom zastavom brodovi plove".
Podsjetio je da je IACS tehničko udruženje koje "razvija i dogovara minimalne tehničke standarde".
"IACS će posljedično morati provesti različite promjene u sastavu raznih radnih skupina", kazao je glasnogovornik.
"IACS nije uključen u operativne i komercijalne aktivnosti svojih članova”, naglasio je.
Stoga će, kako kaže, odluku o eventualnom nastavku bilateralne suradnje s RS-om svaka članica IACS-a donositi sama.
RS je u lipnju prošle godine objavio da je uspostavio strateško partnerstvo s vodećom ruskom brodarskom kompanijom Sovcomflot (SCF), koje je uključivalo suradnju na razvoju novih goriva u pomorskom prijevozu kako bi se smanjile emisije štetnih plinova.
Aranžman je obuhvaćao i tehnički nadzor brodova koji plove na Arktiku, podsjeća Reuters.
SCF je na listi ruskih kompanija kojima je američko ministarstvo financija prošlog mjeseca ograničilo prikupljanje kapitala na američkim tržištima, što će ruskoj kompaniji prema izvorima u brodskom prijevozu zakomplicirati obavljanje transakcija.
Još nije jasno kako će ograničenja utjecati na sigurnost flote SCF-a i na njihovu sposobnost plovidbe, primjećuje Reuters.

Vodeća svjetska udruga za certifikaciju brodova isključila je iz članstva Ruski pomorski registar brodova (RS), u skladu sa sankcijama Rusiji zbog njezine invazije na Ukrajinu.
Klasifikacijska društva pružaju usluge kao što su izdavanje potvrda o sposobnosti brodova za plovidbu. Njihov certifikat brodarima je ključan za osiguranje brodova i pribavljanje dozvole za ulazak u luku, podsjeća Reuters .
Prošli su tjedan britanski LR i norveški DNV objavili da obustavljaju ili postupno gase poslovne veze s Rusijom.
Međunarodno udruženje klasifikacijskih društava (IACS), čiji su članovi LR i DNV, izvijestilo je u petak navečer da je po hitnom postupku iz članstva isključilo ruski RS.
Članstvo Rusije postalo je "neodrživo", istaknuli su, navodeći kao razlog sankcije Velike Britanije Rusiji. Sjedište je IACS-a u Britaniji, podsjeća Reuters.
"IACS iskazuje duboko žaljenje zbog okolnosti koje su rezultirale ovom odlukom", navodi se u priopćenju.
Iz RS-a nisu odmah odgovorili na zahtjev da komentiraju tu odluku, koji im je upućen u ponedjeljak.
Glasnogovornik IACS-a izjavio je u ponedjeljak da će posljedice po RS „ovisiti o njegovim različitim, privatnim bilateralnim aranžmanima sa strankama kao što su brodovlasnici i države pod čijom zastavom brodovi plove".
Podsjetio je da je IACS tehničko udruženje koje "razvija i dogovara minimalne tehničke standarde".
"IACS će posljedično morati provesti različite promjene u sastavu raznih radnih skupina", kazao je glasnogovornik.
"IACS nije uključen u operativne i komercijalne aktivnosti svojih članova”, naglasio je.
Stoga će, kako kaže, odluku o eventualnom nastavku bilateralne suradnje s RS-om svaka članica IACS-a donositi sama.
RS je u lipnju prošle godine objavio da je uspostavio strateško partnerstvo s vodećom ruskom brodarskom kompanijom Sovcomflot (SCF), koje je uključivalo suradnju na razvoju novih goriva u pomorskom prijevozu kako bi se smanjile emisije štetnih plinova.
Aranžman je obuhvaćao i tehnički nadzor brodova koji plove na Arktiku, podsjeća Reuters.
SCF je na listi ruskih kompanija kojima je američko ministarstvo financija prošlog mjeseca ograničilo prikupljanje kapitala na američkim tržištima, što će ruskoj kompaniji prema izvorima u brodskom prijevozu zakomplicirati obavljanje transakcija.
Još nije jasno kako će ograničenja utjecati na sigurnost flote SCF-a i na njihovu sposobnost plovidbe, primjećuje Reuters.
