Regata 44. Rolex Middle Sea Race dočekala je svog prvog finišera, trimaran MOD70 Limosa, s francuskom kormilarkom Alexiom Barrier, koji je prošao kroz cilj za 50 sati i 10 minuta, što je znatno sporije od rekordnog vremena od 33 sata i 29 minuta

Regata je krenula iz luke Vallette, nastavila kroz Messinski tjesnac, zaobilazi Eolske otoke sa sjevera, prolazi kroz obavezna vrata između otoka ispred Trapanija, ostavlja otoke Pantelleriju i Lampedusu lijevo prije povratka u cilj na Malti.

Barrier je pobijedila i na prošlom izdanju ove regate duge 600 milja, a najavila je kako će iduće godine pokušati ostvariti rekord u jedrenju oko svijeta s isključivo ženskom posadom.

Među stotinjak posada na Rolexu nalazi se i jedna naša: u klasi 40 jedre Ivica Kostelić, Darko Prižmić (Pomorsko športska udruga "Peliška jedra") kojem je ovo čak trinaesti nastup na ovoj kultnoj regati), te mladi Filip Miroić (JK Šibenik).

Trenutno na regati, najviše pažnje usmjereno je na našu posadu koja je vodeća u svojoj klasi.

- Sve je u redu, sunčano nam je vrijeme, usred gomile brodova koji pokušavaju proći kroz mirni dio između San Vita i Favignane. Do sada je regata prošla dobro, a imali smo sve vremenske uvjete, od nizbrdice do uzbrdice, nekoliko riskantnih ali dobrih odluka. Malo imamo i bonacu, ali očekuje nas i do 30 čvorova vjetra u orcu i jedna neugodna noć. Zadovoljni smo i nastojat ćemo vodstvo održati do kraja - javio je Kostelić optimistično.

Regata 44. Rolex Middle Sea Race dočekala je svog prvog finišera, trimaran MOD70 Limosa, s francuskom kormilarkom Alexiom Barrier, koji je prošao kroz cilj za 50 sati i 10 minuta, što je znatno sporije od rekordnog vremena od 33 sata i 29 minuta

Regata je krenula iz luke Vallette, nastavila kroz Messinski tjesnac, zaobilazi Eolske otoke sa sjevera, prolazi kroz obavezna vrata između otoka ispred Trapanija, ostavlja otoke Pantelleriju i Lampedusu lijevo prije povratka u cilj na Malti.

Barrier je pobijedila i na prošlom izdanju ove regate duge 600 milja, a najavila je kako će iduće godine pokušati ostvariti rekord u jedrenju oko svijeta s isključivo ženskom posadom.

Među stotinjak posada na Rolexu nalazi se i jedna naša: u klasi 40 jedre Ivica Kostelić, Darko Prižmić (Pomorsko športska udruga "Peliška jedra") kojem je ovo čak trinaesti nastup na ovoj kultnoj regati), te mladi Filip Miroić (JK Šibenik).

Trenutno na regati, najviše pažnje usmjereno je na našu posadu koja je vodeća u svojoj klasi.

- Sve je u redu, sunčano nam je vrijeme, usred gomile brodova koji pokušavaju proći kroz mirni dio između San Vita i Favignane. Do sada je regata prošla dobro, a imali smo sve vremenske uvjete, od nizbrdice do uzbrdice, nekoliko riskantnih ali dobrih odluka. Malo imamo i bonacu, ali očekuje nas i do 30 čvorova vjetra u orcu i jedna neugodna noć. Zadovoljni smo i nastojat ćemo vodstvo održati do kraja - javio je Kostelić optimistično.

Regata 44. Rolex Middle Sea Race dočekala je svog prvog finišera, trimaran MOD70 Limosa, s francuskom kormilarkom Alexiom Barrier, koji je prošao kroz cilj za 50 sati i 10 minuta, što je znatno sporije od rekordnog vremena od 33 sata i 29 minuta

Regata je krenula iz luke Vallette, nastavila kroz Messinski tjesnac, zaobilazi Eolske otoke sa sjevera, prolazi kroz obavezna vrata između otoka ispred Trapanija, ostavlja otoke Pantelleriju i Lampedusu lijevo prije povratka u cilj na Malti.

Barrier je pobijedila i na prošlom izdanju ove regate duge 600 milja, a najavila je kako će iduće godine pokušati ostvariti rekord u jedrenju oko svijeta s isključivo ženskom posadom.
