U 24 sata s nedjelje na ponedjeljak od COVID-a 19 ili s njim u Hrvatskoj su preminule 24 osobe, što je najveći broj u posljednjih 305 dana. Točnije, 9. ožujka 2022. godine u RH je od COVID-a 19 ili s njim umrlo 26 osoba. Nakon toga ni jedan dan nije ni približno umrlo toliko ljudi koliko ih je umrlo jučer.

Podatak o 24 umrlih zasigurno opominje i govori nam da bi i ove zime, odnosno u doba intenzivnog boravka ljudi u zatvorenim prostorima, moglo umrijeti puno više ljudi nego što smo očekivali, budući da su mnogi zaboravili da je COVID postojao ili ga i dalje negiraju.

Strah se širi

– Svakako je to broj koji opominje, iako nisam sklon tome da po jednom danu ocjenjujemo i procjenjujemo situaciju. Treba gledati prosjek od nekoliko dana – rekao nam je izv. prof. dr. sc. Ivo Ivić, bivši predstojnik Klinike za infektologiju KBC-a Split.

A prosjek od "nekoliko" dana govori sljedeće: od početka godine do danas (prvih devet dana) u RH je od COVID-a službeno umrlo 110 ljudi, što je u prosjeku više od 12 ljudi dnevno. I sada, ako vidimo da je sve do jučer u prosjeku umiralo 12 ljudi, a da ih je jučer umrlo 24, dakle dvostruko, normalno je da ljude pomalo hvata strah da bi se mogli ponoviti dani s kudikamo više umrlih.

– Ne vjerujem da ćemo doći do brojki kao u vrijeme najgore pandemije COVID-a, kad smo u jednom danu znali imati i do pet ili više puta umrlih od ovih 24. No isto tako možemo očekivati povećanje broja umrlih, jer ljudi više ne nose zaštitne maske, a sada su bili praznici na kojima su se okupljali u zatvorenim prostorima, po kafićima, restoranima, odnosno živjeli su kao da COVID-a više nema među nama. A ima ga i on i dalje ubija, poglavito starije, bolesnije i one koji su manje otporni – objašnjava dr. Ivić.

I gripa je prisutna.

– Da, ima gripe, koju zbog COVID-a i zbog nošenja zaštitnih maski nismo imali proteklih godina. I kad se "pomiješaju" gripa i COVID, ne možemo ni očekivati ništa drugo od povećanja brojki – kaže naš sugovornik.

Možemo li očekivati da bi netko nekada mogao ponovno donijeti odluku o obaveznom nošenju zaštitnih maski ili postrožiti epidemiološke uvjete?

– Mislim da se u ovom vremenu inflacije i teškog života to nitko neće usuditi, ali vjerujem kako bi se mogla donijeti preporuka o nošenju zaštitnih maski. One će biti i dalje obavezne u medicinskim ustanovama, ali ne i izvan njih.

Međutim, smatram da ljudima treba reći nekoliko vrlo važnih preporuka. Prva bi bila da, ako su bolesni, imaju COVID, nose zaštitne maske kako ne bi zarazili druge oko sebe. Druga bi preporuka bila za one krhkijeg zdravlja, da izbjegavaju masovna okupljanja jer se COVID tamo najviše širi – rekao je izv. prof. dr. sc. Ivo Ivić.

Slabljenje imunosti

O ovom nenadano visokom broju umrlih od COVID-a u protekla 24 sata nekoliko nam je riječi rekao i prof. dr. sc. Zlatko Trobonjača, imunolog sa Sveučilišta u Rijeci.

– Mene ne čudi povećanje broja umrlih, naime, prije nekoliko tjedana rekao sam da očekujem daljnje povećanje broja loših ishoda. S obzirom na širenje evazivnih sojeva virusa, naročito BQ.1, činjenice da imamo lošu procijepljenost čak i u populaciji starijih sugrađana, činjenicu da su širenjem drugih respiracijskih infekcija, poput gripe ili RSV-a, mnogi ljudi zdravstveno iscrpljeni, kontakt s koronavirusom može biti poguban, napose za one koji ili nisu stvorili imunost na njega ili su ga izgubili.

Ne treba smetnuti s uma da je broj novoinficiranih znatno veći od broja detektiranih u zdravstvenom sustavu. U takvom širenju virusa logično je očekivati povećanje broja loših ishoda – zaključuje prof. dr. sc. Trobonjača.

U 24 sata s nedjelje na ponedjeljak od COVID-a 19 ili s njim u Hrvatskoj su preminule 24 osobe, što je najveći broj u posljednjih 305 dana. Točnije, 9. ožujka 2022. godine u RH je od COVID-a 19 ili s njim umrlo 26 osoba. Nakon toga ni jedan dan nije ni približno umrlo toliko ljudi koliko ih je umrlo jučer.

Podatak o 24 umrlih zasigurno opominje i govori nam da bi i ove zime, odnosno u doba intenzivnog boravka ljudi u zatvorenim prostorima, moglo umrijeti puno više ljudi nego što smo očekivali, budući da su mnogi zaboravili da je COVID postojao ili ga i dalje negiraju.

Strah se širi

– Svakako je to broj koji opominje, iako nisam sklon tome da po jednom danu ocjenjujemo i procjenjujemo situaciju. Treba gledati prosjek od nekoliko dana – rekao nam je izv. prof. dr. sc. Ivo Ivić, bivši predstojnik Klinike za infektologiju KBC-a Split.

A prosjek od "nekoliko" dana govori sljedeće: od početka godine do danas (prvih devet dana) u RH je od COVID-a službeno umrlo 110 ljudi, što je u prosjeku više od 12 ljudi dnevno. I sada, ako vidimo da je sve do jučer u prosjeku umiralo 12 ljudi, a da ih je jučer umrlo 24, dakle dvostruko, normalno je da ljude pomalo hvata strah da bi se mogli ponoviti dani s kudikamo više umrlih.

– Ne vjerujem da ćemo doći do brojki kao u vrijeme najgore pandemije COVID-a, kad smo u jednom danu znali imati i do pet ili više puta umrlih od ovih 24. No isto tako možemo očekivati povećanje broja umrlih, jer ljudi više ne nose zaštitne maske, a sada su bili praznici na kojima su se okupljali u zatvorenim prostorima, po kafićima, restoranima, odnosno živjeli su kao da COVID-a više nema među nama. A ima ga i on i dalje ubija, poglavito starije, bolesnije i one koji su manje otporni – objašnjava dr. Ivić.

I gripa je prisutna.

– Da, ima gripe, koju zbog COVID-a i zbog nošenja zaštitnih maski nismo imali proteklih godina. I kad se "pomiješaju" gripa i COVID, ne možemo ni očekivati ništa drugo od povećanja brojki – kaže naš sugovornik.

Možemo li očekivati da bi netko nekada mogao ponovno donijeti odluku o obaveznom nošenju zaštitnih maski ili postrožiti epidemiološke uvjete?

– Mislim da se u ovom vremenu inflacije i teškog života to nitko neće usuditi, ali vjerujem kako bi se mogla donijeti preporuka o nošenju zaštitnih maski. One će biti i dalje obavezne u medicinskim ustanovama, ali ne i izvan njih.

Međutim, smatram da ljudima treba reći nekoliko vrlo važnih preporuka. Prva bi bila da, ako su bolesni, imaju COVID, nose zaštitne maske kako ne bi zarazili druge oko sebe. Druga bi preporuka bila za one krhkijeg zdravlja, da izbjegavaju masovna okupljanja jer se COVID tamo najviše širi – rekao je izv. prof. dr. sc. Ivo Ivić.

Slabljenje imunosti

O ovom nenadano visokom broju umrlih od COVID-a u protekla 24 sata nekoliko nam je riječi rekao i prof. dr. sc. Zlatko Trobonjača, imunolog sa Sveučilišta u Rijeci.

– Mene ne čudi povećanje broja umrlih, naime, prije nekoliko tjedana rekao sam da očekujem daljnje povećanje broja loših ishoda. S obzirom na širenje evazivnih sojeva virusa, naročito BQ.1, činjenice da imamo lošu procijepljenost čak i u populaciji starijih sugrađana, činjenicu da su širenjem drugih respiracijskih infekcija, poput gripe ili RSV-a, mnogi ljudi zdravstveno iscrpljeni, kontakt s koronavirusom može biti poguban, napose za one koji ili nisu stvorili imunost na njega ili su ga izgubili.

Ne treba smetnuti s uma da je broj novoinficiranih znatno veći od broja detektiranih u zdravstvenom sustavu. U takvom širenju virusa logično je očekivati povećanje broja loših ishoda – zaključuje prof. dr. sc. Trobonjača.
