Kitovi ubojice ili orke zadnjih mjeseci presreću i napadaju plovila na ulasku u Gibraltarski tjesnac. Jedan od takvih susreta imala je hrvatska posada koja je to i snimila. Kapetan broda Fran Hržić opisao je za HTV što se dogodilo.

Nakon nekoliko dana lošega vjetra, posada broda bila je zadovoljna jer im je napokon vjetar bio po volji. Opustili su se, slušali glazbu i odjednom, 200 metara od broda ugledali su vodeni stup karakterističan za orke. Jedna od njih je iskočila iz mora i kapetan Hržić imao je loš predosjećaj.

- Odmah sam rekao posadi da skine jedra, upalili smo motore, ali nažalost taman kad smo zarolali prednje jedro, prvi udarac došao je svom cjelinom. Cijeli brod se baš jako zatresao. Stavio sam motore punom snagom naprijed, krenuli smo, a orke su nas slijedile. Čini mi se da su bile u koordinaciji, budući da je jedna lijevi, a druga desni timun gazila. Nakon 2-3 udarca probao sam drugu taktiku, da idemo cik-cak, pa kad god bi orka došla onda bi naglo skrenuli lijevo ili desno da ju izbjegnemo i to je izgleda upalilo. Nakon nekoliko minuta su odustale, kazao je Fran Hržić - piše HRT.

Dr. Alen Soldo, znanstvenik s Odjela za studij mora Sveučilišta u Splitu, istaknuo je da je od 2020. godine do danas zabilježeno 500-ak takvih interakcija, a lani više od 200. Jedna od teorija je, kaže, da se jednoj ženki koja je bila s mladuncem nešto dogodilo 2020. godine. Zovu je White Gladis.

- Ustanovili su da je ona u to vrijeme bila odgovorna za više od 60% tih interakcija. Smatra se da orke imaju kompleksnu socijalnu interakciju, da zapravo prepričavaju jedni drugima, rekao je i dodao da su na neki način i druge orke počele s takvom vrstom interakcije. No to je tek teorija, napomenuo je.

Od nedavno egzistira novija teorija budući da one, tvrdi Soldo, uglavnom napadaju jedrilice, a ne brodove. Shvatili su, znači, da je kormilo glavno za onesposobljavanje broda.

Postoji i mišljenje da se orke na neki način igraju, a zašto se događa takva interakcija s jedrilicama, još nitko nije objasnio, izjavio je Alen Soldo.

U vezi s mogućnošću da se orke uistinu igraju Hržić se prisjetio da se jedna od njih nakon udarca u timun, nagnula na bok i pogledala gore, kao da želi vidjeti reakciju.

Orke dolaze iz porodice dupina. Velike su životinje, teške po 6-7 tona, duge do devet metara i vrlo su inteligentne. Ženke mogu živjeti i do 100 godina, a mužjaci 20-ak godina manje. Plivati mogu brzinom i do 30 km/h.

Ako prolazite jedrilicom u području Gibraltarskog tjesnaca imate 1% šanse doživjeti interakciju s orkama. Ondje ih ima oko 40-ak odraslih jedinki, tvrdi Soldo. Onima koji prolaze tim područjem preporučio je da se što prije udalje od orki, ako ih ugledaju. Treba ih, kaže, izbjegavati i ne treba dolaziti blizu i provjeravati hoće li se one početi igrati.

Budući da klimatske promjene utječu i na zagrijavanje mora, Soldo objašnjava da će u Jadran pristizati one vrste kojima odgovara baš viša temperatura.

- Isto tako, što se more bude više zagrijavalo, Jadran će biti manje zanimljiv onima koji ne vole toplije more, primjerice morskim psima. Mi smo nabrojali jedno 33 vrste morskih pasa koje stalno ili povremeno žive u Jadranu. Neki od njih, npr. velika bijela psina baš i nije ljubitelj toplih temperatura. Prema tome, postoji teoretska mogućnost, ako se Jadranu poveća temperatura, da zapravo velika bijela psina neće dolaziti u Jadran. Ali, s druge strane, možemo očekivati oblokrilca koji u zadnje vrijeme najčešće u egipatskim morima pravi probleme, izjavio je Soldo.

Poručio je kako ne treba zaboraviti da su sve ribe, pa tako i morski psi, hladnokrvni organizmi i da temperatura uvelike utječe na njihovo ponašanje - piše HRT.

Kitovi ubojice ili orke zadnjih mjeseci presreću i napadaju plovila na ulasku u Gibraltarski tjesnac. Jedan od takvih susreta imala je hrvatska posada koja je to i snimila. Kapetan broda Fran Hržić opisao je za HTV što se dogodilo.

Nakon nekoliko dana lošega vjetra, posada broda bila je zadovoljna jer im je napokon vjetar bio po volji. Opustili su se, slušali glazbu i odjednom, 200 metara od broda ugledali su vodeni stup karakterističan za orke. Jedna od njih je iskočila iz mora i kapetan Hržić imao je loš predosjećaj.

- Odmah sam rekao posadi da skine jedra, upalili smo motore, ali nažalost taman kad smo zarolali prednje jedro, prvi udarac došao je svom cjelinom. Cijeli brod se baš jako zatresao. Stavio sam motore punom snagom naprijed, krenuli smo, a orke su nas slijedile. Čini mi se da su bile u koordinaciji, budući da je jedna lijevi, a druga desni timun gazila. Nakon 2-3 udarca probao sam drugu taktiku, da idemo cik-cak, pa kad god bi orka došla onda bi naglo skrenuli lijevo ili desno da ju izbjegnemo i to je izgleda upalilo. Nakon nekoliko minuta su odustale, kazao je Fran Hržić - piše HRT.

Dr. Alen Soldo, znanstvenik s Odjela za studij mora Sveučilišta u Splitu, istaknuo je da je od 2020. godine do danas zabilježeno 500-ak takvih interakcija, a lani više od 200. Jedna od teorija je, kaže, da se jednoj ženki koja je bila s mladuncem nešto dogodilo 2020. godine. Zovu je White Gladis.

- Ustanovili su da je ona u to vrijeme bila odgovorna za više od 60% tih interakcija. Smatra se da orke imaju kompleksnu socijalnu interakciju, da zapravo prepričavaju jedni drugima, rekao je i dodao da su na neki način i druge orke počele s takvom vrstom interakcije. No to je tek teorija, napomenuo je.

Od nedavno egzistira novija teorija budući da one, tvrdi Soldo, uglavnom napadaju jedrilice, a ne brodove. Shvatili su, znači, da je kormilo glavno za onesposobljavanje broda.

Postoji i mišljenje da se orke na neki način igraju, a zašto se događa takva interakcija s jedrilicama, još nitko nije objasnio, izjavio je Alen Soldo.

U vezi s mogućnošću da se orke uistinu igraju Hržić se prisjetio da se jedna od njih nakon udarca u timun, nagnula na bok i pogledala gore, kao da želi vidjeti reakciju.

Orke dolaze iz porodice dupina. Velike su životinje, teške po 6-7 tona, duge do devet metara i vrlo su inteligentne. Ženke mogu živjeti i do 100 godina, a mužjaci 20-ak godina manje. Plivati mogu brzinom i do 30 km/h.

Ako prolazite jedrilicom u području Gibraltarskog tjesnaca imate 1% šanse doživjeti interakciju s orkama. Ondje ih ima oko 40-ak odraslih jedinki, tvrdi Soldo. Onima koji prolaze tim područjem preporučio je da se što prije udalje od orki, ako ih ugledaju. Treba ih, kaže, izbjegavati i ne treba dolaziti blizu i provjeravati hoće li se one početi igrati.

Budući da klimatske promjene utječu i na zagrijavanje mora, Soldo objašnjava da će u Jadran pristizati one vrste kojima odgovara baš viša temperatura.

- Isto tako, što se more bude više zagrijavalo, Jadran će biti manje zanimljiv onima koji ne vole toplije more, primjerice morskim psima. Mi smo nabrojali jedno 33 vrste morskih pasa koje stalno ili povremeno žive u Jadranu. Neki od njih, npr. velika bijela psina baš i nije ljubitelj toplih temperatura. Prema tome, postoji teoretska mogućnost, ako se Jadranu poveća temperatura, da zapravo velika bijela psina neće dolaziti u Jadran. Ali, s druge strane, možemo očekivati oblokrilca koji u zadnje vrijeme najčešće u egipatskim morima pravi probleme, izjavio je Soldo.

Poručio je kako ne treba zaboraviti da su sve ribe, pa tako i morski psi, hladnokrvni organizmi i da temperatura uvelike utječe na njihovo ponašanje - piše HRT.

Susret hrvatske posade s kitovima ubojicama: Došao je prvi udarac, brod se jako zatresao, orke su nas slijedile

Kitovi ubojice ili orke zadnjih mjeseci presreću i napadaju plovila na ulasku u Gibraltarski tjesnac. Jedan od takvih susreta imala je hrvatska posada koja je to i snimila. Kapetan broda Fran Hržić opisao je za HTV što se dogodilo.

Nakon nekoliko dana lošega vjetra, posada broda bila je zadovoljna jer im je napokon vjetar bio po volji. Opustili su se, slušali glazbu i odjednom, 200 metara od broda ugledali su vodeni stup karakterističan za orke. Jedna od njih je iskočila iz mora i kapetan Hržić imao je loš predosjećaj.

- Odmah sam rekao posadi da skine jedra, upalili smo motore, ali nažalost taman kad smo zarolali prednje jedro, prvi udarac došao je svom cjelinom. Cijeli brod se baš jako zatresao. Stavio sam motore punom snagom naprijed, krenuli smo, a orke su nas slijedile. Čini mi se da su bile u koordinaciji, budući da je jedna lijevi, a druga desni timun gazila.
