Europska komisija (EK) je u utorak predložila i na svojim stranicama objavila prijedlog da se Rijeci i irskom Galwayu, zbog učinaka korona krize, omogući da produže godinu u kojoj nose titulu Europske prijestolnice kulture - do 30. travnja 2021., doznaje se u Rijeci.

Direktorica Rijeke 2020 Irena Kregar Šegota izjavila je tim povodom da je prijedlog EK o produljenju programa Europske prijestolnice kulture upućen Europskom parlamentu slijedom konzultacija s gradovima EPK od 2020. do 2024., tako i s Rijekom, te da bi takva odluka bila dobrodošla i otvorila bi mogućnosti realizacije dodatnih programa.

"Bez obzira na odluku EU parlamenta, Rijeka i u ovoj godini nastoji realizirati svoj program u što je moguće većem obujmu. Tako smo, odmah po ukidanju tzv. lockdowna krenuli s realizacijom prilagođenog programa i velikog broja aktivnosti, što su, vjerujem, primijetili i naši sugrađani, ali i svi gosti našega grada," kazala je.

Kregar Šegota je istaknula da se u sklopu EPK gradi i dovršava novi kvart kulture u nekadašnjoj tvornici Rikarda Benčića i preuređuje brod Galeb te da ti radovi nikada nisu stali, iako su se, zbog pandemije i otežanog protoka roba i ljudi, nešto oduljili.

"Uz Muzej moderne i suvremene umjetnosti, gotovo pa u središtu grada uskoro ćemo dobiti i novi Muzej grada Rijeke, Dječju kuću te knjižnicu.Također, kultni Galeb postat će brod muzej. Sve ovo događa se bez obzira na ekstenziju programa do 30. travnja", navela je.

Dodala je da je inicijativa EK dobrodošla i izrazila nadu da će biti odobrena.

Jer Rijeka i irski grad Galway su se kao ovogodišnje prijestolnice kulture našli u zaista specifičnoj situaciji zbog pandemije uzrokovane koronavirusom i svaka potpora je važna, među ostalim i kroz produženje trajanja projekta, zaključila je Irena Kregar Šegota.

Europska komisija (EK) je u utorak predložila i na svojim stranicama objavila prijedlog da se Rijeci i irskom Galwayu, zbog učinaka korona krize, omogući da produže godinu u kojoj nose titulu Europske prijestolnice kulture - do 30. travnja 2021., doznaje se u Rijeci.

Direktorica Rijeke 2020 Irena Kregar Šegota izjavila je tim povodom da je prijedlog EK o produljenju programa Europske prijestolnice kulture upućen Europskom parlamentu slijedom konzultacija s gradovima EPK od 2020. do 2024., tako i s Rijekom, te da bi takva odluka bila dobrodošla i otvorila bi mogućnosti realizacije dodatnih programa.

"Bez obzira na odluku EU parlamenta, Rijeka i u ovoj godini nastoji realizirati svoj program u što je moguće većem obujmu. Tako smo, odmah po ukidanju tzv. lockdowna krenuli s realizacijom prilagođenog programa i velikog broja aktivnosti, što su, vjerujem, primijetili i naši sugrađani, ali i svi gosti našega grada," kazala je.

Kregar Šegota je istaknula da se u sklopu EPK gradi i dovršava novi kvart kulture u nekadašnjoj tvornici Rikarda Benčića i preuređuje brod Galeb te da ti radovi nikada nisu stali, iako su se, zbog pandemije i otežanog protoka roba i ljudi, nešto oduljili.

"Uz Muzej moderne i suvremene umjetnosti, gotovo pa u središtu grada uskoro ćemo dobiti i novi Muzej grada Rijeke, Dječju kuću te knjižnicu.Također, kultni Galeb postat će brod muzej. Sve ovo događa se bez obzira na ekstenziju programa do 30. travnja", navela je.

Dodala je da je inicijativa EK dobrodošla i izrazila nadu da će biti odobrena.

Jer Rijeka i irski grad Galway su se kao ovogodišnje prijestolnice kulture našli u zaista specifičnoj situaciji zbog pandemije uzrokovane koronavirusom i svaka potpora je važna, među ostalim i kroz produženje trajanja projekta, zaključila je Irena Kregar Šegota.

Europska komisija predlaže: Rijeci i Galwayu produljiti titulu Europske prijestolnice kulture do 30. travnja 2021. godine

Europska komisija (EK) je u utorak predložila i na svojim stranicama objavila prijedlog da se Rijeci i irskom Galwayu, zbog učinaka korona krize, omogući da produže godinu u kojoj nose titulu Europske prijestolnice kulture - do 30. travnja 2021., doznaje se u Rijeci.

Direktorica Rijeke 2020 Irena Kregar Šegota izjavila je tim povodom da je prijedlog EK o produljenju programa Europske prijestolnice kulture upućen Europskom parlamentu slijedom konzultacija s gradovima EPK od 2020. do 2024., tako i s Rijekom, te da bi takva odluka bila dobrodošla i otvorila bi mogućnosti realizacije dodatnih programa.
