U Beogradu je u četvrtak, 22. veljače, proglašena epidemija zaraze ospicama nakon što je od ukupno 13 slučajeva zaraze u Srbiji, njih 11 zabilježeno baš u glavnom gradu.  

Radi se o vrlo zaraznoj virusnoj bolesti koja je, unatoč tome što za nju postoji vrlo efikasno i sigurno cjepivo, još uvijek značajan uzrok smrti djece, posebice u zemljama u razvoju. 

Kako kažu iz Zavoda za javno zdravstvo, uzročnik ospica je virus morbila, a prvi simptomi zaraze su povišena tjelesna temperatura, curenje iz nosa, suhi kašalj te crvenilo i suzenje očiju. Još jedan simptom, karakterističan baš za ospice, su Koplikove pjege. Radi se o sitnim bijelim zrncima na sluznici usne šupljine s unutrašnje strane obraza. Nakon par dana javlja se i specifičan osip po koži na području ušiju i lica, koji se dalje širi po trupu i ekstremitetima.  

Prosječna inkubacija ovog virusa traje između 10 i 12 dana, a od zaraze do pojave osipa najčešće prođe dva tjedna. Sami osip traje četiri ili pet dana, nakon čega počne blijedjeti. 

Tko treba posebno pripaziti? 

Ospicama se mogu zaraziti svi koji ih već nisu preboljeli ili nisu cijepljeni dvjema dozama cjepiva. Kako kažu iz Zavoda, 17 posto oboljelih od ospica ima jednu ili više komplikacija bolesti.  

- Oko 17posto oboljelih ima jednu ili više komplikacija bolesti kao što su upala uha, upala pluća, febrilne konvulzije (grčenje uslijed visoke temperature), proljev ili upala mozga (encefalitis). Najčešća komplikacija, upala pluća, javlja se u oko 6 do 13% oboljelih i vodeći je uzrok smrtnosti od ospica. Prema posljednjim podacima u Europskoj uniji godišnje se registrira 1 umrli na tisuću oboljelih od ospica. U najvećem riziku od komplikacija i smrti su mala djeca do 2 godine, trudnice te osobe s oštećenim imunološkim sustavom - objašnjavaju iz Zavoda. 

Kako se prenosi? 

Ospice se prenose kapljičnim putem, odnosno direktnim kontaktom sa sekretima zaražene osobe, bilo to izravnim kontaktom s bolesnikom ili pak nekom površinom koja je kontaminirana kapljicama zaražene osobe. 

- Izvor zaraze je bolesnik 4 dana prije i 4 dana nakon izbijanja osipa. Budući da se virus vrlo lako prenosi s čovjeka na čovjeka, zarazit će se više od 90% osoba koje su bile u kontaktu s bolesnikom ako nisu cijepljene ili nisu preboljele ospice. Virus može preživjeti 2 sata na površinama i predmetima – navode. 

Trebaju li Hrvati biti zabrinuti? 

Iz Zavoda kažu da se uvođenjem obaveznog cijepljenja protiv ospica 1968. godine broj oboljelih znatno smanjio, no problem je kontinuirani pad procijepljenosti djece predškolske dobi.

- Prije 1968. g. (kad je u Hrvatsku uvedeno obavezno cijepljenje protiv ospica), prosječan godišnji broj oboljelih bio je oko 15.000, dok je u posljednjih desetak godina u Hrvatskoj taj broj bio ispod 20, s izuzetkom 2015. g. kad smo imali epidemiju s 206 oboljelih i 2018. g. s epidemijom ospica u DNŽ. Najveći problem je kontinuirani pad procijepljenosti djece predškolske dobi, koja je ispod minimalnih 95 %, i može dovesti do pojave epidemije - objašnjavaju. 

Dakle, najbolji način da izbjegnemo ospice je cijepiti se, ali i izbjegavati zaražene osobe. Važno je broj procijepljene djece predškolske dobi vratiti na 95 posto procijepljenosti kako bismo izbjegli epidemije ove vrlo zarazne virusne bolesti.

U Beogradu je u četvrtak, 22. veljače, proglašena epidemija zaraze ospicama nakon što je od ukupno 13 slučajeva zaraze u Srbiji, njih 11 zabilježeno baš u glavnom gradu.  

Radi se o vrlo zaraznoj virusnoj bolesti koja je, unatoč tome što za nju postoji vrlo efikasno i sigurno cjepivo, još uvijek značajan uzrok smrti djece, posebice u zemljama u razvoju. 

Kako kažu iz Zavoda za javno zdravstvo, uzročnik ospica je virus morbila, a prvi simptomi zaraze su povišena tjelesna temperatura, curenje iz nosa, suhi kašalj te crvenilo i suzenje očiju. Još jedan simptom, karakterističan baš za ospice, su Koplikove pjege. Radi se o sitnim bijelim zrncima na sluznici usne šupljine s unutrašnje strane obraza. Nakon par dana javlja se i specifičan osip po koži na području ušiju i lica, koji se dalje širi po trupu i ekstremitetima.  

Prosječna inkubacija ovog virusa traje između 10 i 12 dana, a od zaraze do pojave osipa najčešće prođe dva tjedna. Sami osip traje četiri ili pet dana, nakon čega počne blijedjeti. 

Tko treba posebno pripaziti? 

Ospicama se mogu zaraziti svi koji ih već nisu preboljeli ili nisu cijepljeni dvjema dozama cjepiva. Kako kažu iz Zavoda, 17 posto oboljelih od ospica ima jednu ili više komplikacija bolesti.  

- Oko 17posto oboljelih ima jednu ili više komplikacija bolesti kao što su upala uha, upala pluća, febrilne konvulzije (grčenje uslijed visoke temperature), proljev ili upala mozga (encefalitis). Najčešća komplikacija, upala pluća, javlja se u oko 6 do 13% oboljelih i vodeći je uzrok smrtnosti od ospica. Prema posljednjim podacima u Europskoj uniji godišnje se registrira 1 umrli na tisuću oboljelih od ospica. U najvećem riziku od komplikacija i smrti su mala djeca do 2 godine, trudnice te osobe s oštećenim imunološkim sustavom - objašnjavaju iz Zavoda. 

Kako se prenosi? 

Ospice se prenose kapljičnim putem, odnosno direktnim kontaktom sa sekretima zaražene osobe, bilo to izravnim kontaktom s bolesnikom ili pak nekom površinom koja je kontaminirana kapljicama zaražene osobe. 

- Izvor zaraze je bolesnik 4 dana prije i 4 dana nakon izbijanja osipa. Budući da se virus vrlo lako prenosi s čovjeka na čovjeka, zarazit će se više od 90% osoba koje su bile u kontaktu s bolesnikom ako nisu cijepljene ili nisu preboljele ospice. Virus može preživjeti 2 sata na površinama i predmetima – navode. 

Trebaju li Hrvati biti zabrinuti? 

Iz Zavoda kažu da se uvođenjem obaveznog cijepljenja protiv ospica 1968. godine broj oboljelih znatno smanjio, no problem je kontinuirani pad procijepljenosti djece predškolske dobi.

- Prije 1968. g. (kad je u Hrvatsku uvedeno obavezno cijepljenje protiv ospica), prosječan godišnji broj oboljelih bio je oko 15.000, dok je u posljednjih desetak godina u Hrvatskoj taj broj bio ispod 20, s izuzetkom 2015. g. kad smo imali epidemiju s 206 oboljelih i 2018. g. s epidemijom ospica u DNŽ. Najveći problem je kontinuirani pad procijepljenosti djece predškolske dobi, koja je ispod minimalnih 95 %, i može dovesti do pojave epidemije - objašnjavaju. 

Dakle, najbolji način da izbjegnemo ospice je cijepiti se, ali i izbjegavati zaražene osobe. Važno je broj procijepljene djece predškolske dobi vratiti na 95 posto procijepljenosti kako bismo izbjegli epidemije ove vrlo zarazne virusne bolesti.

U glavnom gradu Srbije proglasili epidemiju zaraze ospicama: Najčešća komplikacija je i vodeći uzrok smrtnosti

U Beogradu je u četvrtak, 22. veljače, proglašena epidemija zaraze ospicama nakon što je od ukupno 13 slučajeva zaraze u Srbiji, njih 11 zabilježeno baš u glavnom gradu.  

Radi se o vrlo zaraznoj virusnoj bolesti koja je, unatoč tome što za nju postoji vrlo efikasno i sigurno cjepivo, još uvijek značajan uzrok smrti djece, posebice u zemljama u razvoju. 

Kako kažu iz Zavoda za javno zdravstvo, uzročnik ospica je virus morbila, a prvi simptomi zaraze su povišena tjelesna temperatura, curenje iz nosa, suhi kašalj te crvenilo i suzenje očiju. Još jedan simptom, karakterističan baš za ospice, su Koplikove pjege. Radi se o sitnim bijelim zrncima na sluznici usne šupljine s unutrašnje strane obraza. Nakon par dana javlja se i specifičan osip po koži na području ušiju i lica, koji se dalje širi po trupu i ekstremitetima.
